Marjorie, an 86-year-old widow, begins to lose her memories to dementia. To help her recall the past, her family introduces her a high-tech hologram of her late husband, a "Prime" AI designed to reconstruct and present memories based on the information fed to it. The play explores the emotional and ethical dilemmas of using artificial intelligence to preserve and even alter personal history. Her daughter Tess and son-in-law Jon grapple with whether to feed him truthful memories or edit them to make them more pleasant, raising questions about truth, legacy, and the nature of identity.
